lexmark z735 and dell 725

Does anyone know if these two printers are the same as, I have found somewhere where I can buy the dell for just £24 but will it take the same lexmark #1 cartbridge as the z735?

You would be better getting over to the dell site where you can buy the 810 "all in one" printer,copier,scanner for £21-70.
That also takes only one cartridge for £14-99 but could be re-filled.
Lexmark make the printers for dell but the cartridges are shaped different on the top so can`t be swapped.
You do get a cartridge with your printer.

Ok thanks for your help. I think I will hold of getting a new printer until my old hp deskjets ink runs out.

I just bought two of the dell 810s for £27, they have yet to arrive. Is it at all possible to modify the printer to accept lexmark cartridges or am I doomed to buy all my cartridges from dell in future??

Buy the correct Lexmark cartridge and swap the plastic tops, put the Dell one on and it'll fit

Can anyone help - I bought a Lexmark 1 cartridge to use in a Dell 725 and took off the plastic bit so it fits perfect, but when I print it says incompatible cartridge...has anyone else had this problem?

You can modify some Dell cartridges to fit into Lexmark machines and vice versa

The lexmark No.1 cartridge hold next to no ink and so does the dell

Try these guys for the ink

They have been good for my printer crtridges and the cartridges last alot longer than the originals
