Should i have a original or replica Louis Vuitton handbag?

Now I am so confused to make a decision about should i buy an original or replica one handbag.
I find the bag on a fashion magazine few weeks ago,Louis Vuitton Collection Beach Cabas Ipanema PM M95984,it is a nice bag,i love pink.
It makes of Cotton canvas,i love the textile lining with archive signature, the smooth leather trimmings.According to the description it has one flat inside pocket and one phone pocket.Other important point is the shoulder carry with comfortable tapered handles.
Now question comes up.On one hand,I don't have too much extra money to buy an original one,but i do love it .By the other hand,i am afraid the replica one can not meet the quality requirement, although it is price or some factor else beyond the original.
So everybody help me to make a decision.Give me some suggestion, help me to make a wise and no regrets decision.

It is illegal to buy and sell fake or pirate goods in the UK. So either save for the original one or just buy a cheaper one from a High Street store and forget about designer stuff.

    Hi Queen2122,

I think you should buy the original, even if it means saving up for it. I know there are good quality fakes about but they are not as nice as the real thing and it will always be in the back of your mind that it's a fake. Plus if you go for the original and keep it in good condition if you ever get bored you should be able to sell it for a decent price.

If you can't buy it straight away try keeping an eye out on ebay for a while, if you do your research in order to spot the fakes from the genuine ones you might get lucky and find one on there! I have just brought a pink gucci joy boston bag for £150 inc p&p, only used once and they are about £330 new!

I think if money is hard (certainly if you have debt) as you mention difficulty affording it, you should think really hard about whether you need it while you save up for an original. I would not buy a replica/copy, I might by an ''inspired by..''. Once you've got the cash saved you can make the decision :)

A lot of the replicas go to fund organised crime. :o

I think "designer bags" are so common! Everybody has them ( except me because I don't want one ).

I would go for a classic bag manufactured by Biasia, Ferrici,Nicoli et al.

These are more affordable and you can have a holiday too with the money you have saved.

Just my opinion before I'm shot down in flames.

I have absoultely no idea why anyone would pay more than £25.00 for a handbag unless they have money to burn. It's a bag - it carries things from a to b. Paying for a "designer" to carry things from a to b seems just silly.

Buy a pretty bag that you like and use it.

It is always best to get the real thing or buy a non designer handbag for a more modest outlay.

The problem is it's almost impossible to get a real leather handbag for under £25, I don't wear fake leather and I'm not keen on most fabric bags. Even leather bags in high street shops aren't cheap. I have a leather hobo bag from zara that cost £100 so in a way it makes sense to spend a bit more and get something extra special, plus a good quality handbag will last foever while a cheap one will fall apart after a few months, in my opinion.

This is my excuse for not buying cheap bags and I'm sticking to it!! :D

Don't want to sound holier than thou or anything (!) but just to point out that if you buy a fake, chances are it would have been made in some foreign sweatshop where children as young as 5 are making these bags for 14 hours a day with no breaks at 50 cents a day. Sorry to spoil things - just looking at the wider picture.
