    Morning all,

I've just sent a note to RE asking for clarification on the Mexican calls. visits....I'll let you know the outcome.

Well, after being full of coffee and cake (yes, via TNS) today is more coffee and cake, a bank visit and donughts for the weekend! I really am going to turn into a fatty boom batty!

Aside from that its my last day in this job today, start a new one on Monday and this weekend is all set for packing up the house!

    How is everyone?
Be careful! I've put on about 2 stone since MSing. I really need to not eat the food, just buy it, taste it and chuck it.

So are you staying in the same industry?

Good luck with the house move! Have a great weekend.

I have carried out Tern ones as well and they have been variable too. I can't remember who I did the other big chain for but they were just as bad...I wouldn't buy my specs from any of the chain opticians....good job I have a well qualified independent local opthalmist.
  • Does anyone know if ABAi penalise you if you unbook an MS? i've booked one, but completely forgot I have an appointment that day. I could just about do it and would if cancelling means I'd never get a job from them again, but it would make the day a lot less stressful if I didn't have it.
Grr at myself for not writing everything in my diary!

I've unbooked with them before, a couple of times actually and never had a problem picking up assignments after. To be honest, I don't know what they expect when you can't see the brief until after you've accepted an assignment. They do make up for it with lovely short questionnaires though!

Thanks Isabelle. I have now unbooked it. I agree, it's odd that you can't see what you're doing before you agree to do it!

Your best bet is to telephone the contact in the brief. They are very understanding and may be able to rescedule it for you as long as it's not too much later. Much better for your MS cred if you let them know the reasons for cancelling....

Edit - oops! I wasn't quick enough to reply.

Yes, staying with the same company......a promotion which means moving!!
  • I'm confused. Doing my first pub food visit for TNS (The ones they had so many problems getting the work pack out on) and have just received 2 different workpacks, both state on the front screen that you need to purchase x food and x drink, but when you open up the briefing notes they are for a drinks only visit with later start times.

I take it this is wrong?? Is everyone elses the same?
  • Just got some rather nice envelopes from ABAi. A ton and a half!!! Lovely jubbley!
