Hi,
Not sure where to post this so mods please move if in the wrong place. I've received three emails, supposedly from egg.com, asking me to update my account details if I don't my services with Egg will be restricted. I was also provided with a link to do this. I immediatly thought scam as I've had similar from PayPal which turned out to be a scam, so I contacted Egg whom confirmed that they do not send this sort of email. They told to delete them and do a virus scan. Egg pointed out that these emails are sent at random, to anyone, in the hope that the scammers will hit the jackpot and catch a unsuspecting customer. I am a customer and knew nothing about this so why aren't Egg.com warning their customers then of this possible scam?
