Gammon joint into gammon steaks???

Hi all,

I have bought a gammon joint costing about £4 for 1.5k, can I slice it up into gammon steaks and fry or grill them as this, or is there a reason this wouldn't work???

Anyone done it???

I've done it - IMHO it actually tastes nicer, especially as you decide the thickness. I think mine broke up slightly, but that didn't seem to bother anyone.

I have done it too and it seems to go farther , I have also done it with top rump and turned it into steaks
