They have a farm shop and a unit beside Dobbies in the Angus Gateway place. Not cheap, but good veggies.

You can buy some stuff straight from Turriff's nursery shop in Albert Street in the Ferry too - first left when you turn up past the Occidental Pub, then almost to the end of the road. Up the dirve for parking, then go through the doorway past the flowerhouse, then into the wee shop bit on the right.

Not been there for ages - must have a visit sometime.

Ewart's the butcher in Monifieth sell locally produced eggs - I've forgotten the name of them though.:o
They do other Scottish made goods too - in addition to their meat of course.

editted to add - the freezer sectino at Dobbies NMilton HAugh is good - you can put the pre-prepared veggies into a bag then use them straight from the freezer - good if you're pushed for time.

They deliver to your door to Dundee, Angus, Fife.

They do a veg/fruit box scheme but you can buy other items. Surprised you haven't heard of them.

Another vote for Bee-Organic, I get a veg box and a dozen eggs from them every week.
You can opt out of vegetables you don't like, and they have a list of what will be in your veg box, so you can plan around it. This week there's new potatoes, onions, carrots, courgettes, cucumber, kohl rabi, tomatoes and French beans in the small box (£10) The eggs are £3.02 a dozen and tend to be on the huge side.

I tried a veg box from a place out in birkhill and TBH i was less than impressed with the quality. Thats when i switched to MiltonMchugh but trying to get into that angus gateway is getting more difficult each week. Thats the main reason I wanted a farm shop so I could actually see the veg before i bought it.

Bee Organic is in Birkhill, I presume thats who you mean. From what I understand they are very very good, as other posters have said. I am too far away to take advantage of their service otherwise I would try them.

Tayside and Angus is all farming country, there must be lots of wee farm shops around you can buy from, there are enough fruit farms!! Aren't there any wee noices in the Courier to tell you?

There used to be one just past Newtyle/Meigle area's pub - can't remember it, it's in a corner.anyway, if this jogs anyone's memory - the farm sold it's own poduce -but it's over 10 miles away from the Ferry end of town/Monifieth so a bit of a trek for OP.

Considering the road to Arbroath is almost lined with farms, there aren't any signs for farm shops.
