Has it got a glass lid?

    If it hasn't forget it.

Every time you take the lid off to "see how it's doing" you effectiviely add an hour to the cooking time, something my wife seems absolutely incapable of understanding.

Oh dear, that would make it a slow, slow cooker. lol :rotfl:

Can't beat that price tho, worth it's weight in gold, I'd be lost without mine. Stick the stuff in it in the morning and when you get home from work dinner is served!! great walking into the smell of a home cooked meal too

Oh dear, perhaps you should take up the cooking and let the wife have access to the computer, or stick a post - it - note to her forehead :D
