just been into asda in rugby and they are selling smartprice 1.8L slow cookers for £6 each,an essential piece of moneysaving equipment i think

If it hasn't forget it.
Every time you take the lid off to "see how it's doing" you effectiviely add an hour to the cooking time, something my wife seems absolutely incapable of understanding.

Can't beat that price tho, worth it's weight in gold, I'd be lost without mine. Stick the stuff in it in the morning and when you get home from work dinner is served!! great walking into the smell of a home cooked meal too0 -
