Has anyone brought/read this book? Her first book How To Feed Your Whole Family is my bible so I'll probably buy it anyway, but just curious if anyone has used it yet?

Thank you. I've just bought both books as I've been meaning to buy How to Feed Your Family.......... for a while, so I took the plunge and bought both.

Hi, I am a serial lurker on all things Oldstyle. I have been too nervous to post BUT have both books.
Fish Pies and French Fries is great. There are some crossover recipes but not that many. Pacific Pie is in both for example.
It talks about store cupboard basics in Chapter 1.
Chapter 2 is a huge section called Mood Food, which is then broken down into sub categories:
Classics
Comfort Food
Curry
Cool Dinners
Credit Crunch Cuisine
Kid's Favourites
Chapter 3 - Loose Ends
Chapter 4 - Dinner Party Menus
Chapter 5 - Something Sweet
Chapter 6 - Weekly menus (although not costed as in How to Feed Yor Family)
I hope this helps, I am addicted to these books. They are "real" cooking for a family.
Cheers!Stop the world, I'm getting off!

Just to add that this is on sale at 'The Works' currently for 99p from a rrp of £9.99. Bought a copy yesterday in Southend and it has some really nice recipes in, much prefer it to the other book of hers. Thought I would share as its a great little find. :beer:Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000
