Buying a new slow cooker??

In November I bought a cookswork slow cooker from argos. It was reduced to £11.49, and i used necter points to get it cheaper. i think I only paid 6.49.
ANYWAY the handle has come off, so liquid evapourates through the gap at the top. This really defeats to object of a slow cooker, as i don't feel i can trust it not to boil dry.
So now i am looking to get a new one, and wonder what people recommend. I want something reliable, but reasonably priced. Any ideas?
Also there is only three in our family, so nothing too big!
Thanks in advance

PS Help me fast as I am having slow cooker withdrawl symptoms, and don't know what to cook for dinners anymore.

.......the handle won't glue back on before you mention it. We tried but the plastic is cracked so the glue won't bond.....

Take it back as a SC should last a lot longer than 6 months.
All you should need is reciept if not a credit card/bank statement.
And use the refund to buy a slightly more expensive one.

I would take it back too, Argos are normally good about replacing faulty goods. I see it's now back to £19.99 price and they have the Rival one for the same price which I would go for as it's oval and you can fit joints and chickens in much more easily with that shape.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
