Best way to borrow £30k for 6 months?
Was hoping for some advice on the best way(s) to borrow £30k to cover a loft extension project over the next 6 months?
Essentially, we have £12k in savings tied up until Jan 2010 and plan to remortgage after the work is done to cover the total cost - so any borrowing now would be paid off by March 2010.
Have been looking at splitting it between 0% interest credit cards, or taking a loan without an early repayment penalty (do they exist?). Any views on the best way to do it?

Bog standard further advance on your mortgage - no special deals or tie ins so that you can repay when funds become available. You could even go interest only to reduce monthly outgoings.0
