Got a date for bankruptcy, but...

It's 6 weeks away and I'm already getting very threatening letters from solicitors, would it be worth me letting them know that I am declaring myself bankrupt? Or should I tell them something else?

Its for 8th September xx

dont bother...all it will do is increase the hassles

IF you need to say something just tell them your receiving advice from a debt helpline and will be in touch soon

If you've got the forms and money ready to go keep phoning your court for a cancellation, they often come up.

Exactly what I was going to say. I did the same to buy me a little time before 'the big day'. It didn't completely stop the calls though.
