:beer: hi there has anyone used any of these firms offering to buy gold/silver jewelery only like many others i find myself short of of cash, i have a few small items probley not worth much, but a small amount is bettr than none, most of these sites seem to say dont go to the high street pawn brokers?

hi, these sites arent bad. But they make a massive profit. Plus these sell to jewellers, why not cut out the middle man and go straight to a jewellers. Also asian jewllers in my experience pay more but will onyl accept 18 carat gold minimum.0

ok to answer one query - my sis went to one of the high st ones either cash converter or cash generator cant remember which (it was in Cardiff if that helps) her OH looked up the price per gram beforehand and they were pleased with the price offered and accepted it. oh - dont forget to take ID with you - they ask for it!0
