    Good stuff.
It doesn't include Windoze 7 on the compatibility list, so it's enf-of-range, really.
    But it's free!!!

It does include Windows 7... "General system requirements

    Windows® XP SP2 or SP3, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 with SP2.

Even if it didn't, chances are,it would have anyway.
  • well i think its great, i use Nero in work and had been looing for a free copy for home as i lost my CD, couldnt get one, so this is perfect, thanks for the find!!
  • i saw this offer on another site and people were saying that it was only for burning data and not video or music,
if true then it has limited use.
  • "What’s better than free? Free forever! Nero offers you the chance to enjoy Nero’s world-renowned data disc burning and copying features for an unlimited time, absolutely FREE!

Enjoy basic data burning and copying capabilities for your CDs and DVDs from the world’s most trusted digital media brand, Nero."

Far better, free data burners out there. This is crippleware.

I personally wouldn't touch Nero with a barge pole, I use Ashampoo Burning Studio and does everything I've asked of it and is extremely reliable and no bloat unlike Nero! Download.com link
  • i agree with the above poster lol
  • If anyone here is actually thinking of installing that, I suggest they read this first. Besides being bloated and potentially annoying this particular utility isn't really necessary, since Windows XP has had basic disc authoring capabilities from day one, and with just one update can potentially do even more. Disc image manipulation and label creation still require the use of third-party utilities, but having the capacity to burn data or audio to CD, DVD and BD is enough for most people's needs.

Naturally, Windows 7 can do most of this stuff straight out of the box.
