Hello
My son needs a new bed (has had the same one since he was 3!!)
Any recommendations please for a small double bed (not divan)/
We live in Belfast.
We have just been to Dreams and the one opposite on Boucher Road but the one he wanted was £500! so a bit dear, is that the average price nowadays?
Many thanks in advance
Fiona

Try S&L on the Castlereagh Road or the Discount furniture place on Templemore Avenue if you're in the East. There's a place in Andersonstown, possibly called discount Furniture, if you're over that way. You could also consider Ikea though not everyone likes their stuff.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

I would stay away from any of the big chains, as they charge way over the top.
Beds in NI tend to be very expensive, so if possible shop on line to get the best value for money. Some sellers on the mainland UK use couriers who will deliver to NI.0 -
hi try argos.good double beds from £300 ,delivered for a fiver0

You should be able to get a good double or small double for under £300. Try Sound Asleep Beds in Newtownards or Bangor.
They have a great selection of mattresses and bedsteads, the web site only has some of their products, so its worth calling in to see their stock.

I got a double bed in the bedshed on boucher rd. At the time they were doing a sale and we got a memory foam bed for around 500 quid frame included. I must say it is really comfy! They also do it on interest free payments over 12 months.:Toooooooh i luv a bargain

Think I bought a single bed from there for my 4 year old! Is it on the corner of the antrim rd beside a party shop? It wasnt great tbh and I had to put a sheet of MDF under the mattress! but then again she was caught using the bed as a trampoline:rotfl:oooooooh i luv a bargain

Why not try Bangor Auctions. They have a Bed Sale first Wednesday of the month. They are new but shop soiled (some very little soiled) We have bought 2 Super Kingsize beds for a £5 each. Beds rarely go for much more than £40.
