Anything I can make out of this...?

So I don't have much food in the house... at all.

I can't really be bothered going shopping today (bus ride to a decent shop). I'm moving house on Friday which is why I don't have a lot, trying not to fill my freezer/fridge up in the meantime.

I know I could have the fishcakes and chips but I just don't fancy it. Is there anything else that I could make for dinner? I'm guessing not.

Freezer: Oven chips, 2 salmon fishcakes, sweetcorn.

Fridge: Margerine, wine.

Cupboard: Pasta, honey, flour, paprika, garlic herbs (meant for pasta), chopped garlic, chicken stock cubes, lemon juice, black pepper, table salt, muesli, cornflour, soy sauce, bisto granules, chilli powder, relish.

I know, I don't have much to go on but I thought it was worth asking you OS'ers :D

Thanks

Drink the wine. It may inspire you or make you hungry enough for the fishcakes.

If you had any milk, you could make a cheesy sauce for the pasta, mix in the sweetcorn, a bit of chilli, garlic, season with salt and pepper then crumble the fishcakes over the top as a pasta bake.

Actually - I rather fancy that myself now!

If the pasta is spaghetti or other thin pasta you could make anoodle soup using the chicken stock, soy sauce and sweetcorn plus the pasta;)

That could be the best option ;)

See, this is why I ask OS'ers, I'd never think of that. But I have no milk... or cheese :rotfl: I guess those are simple things I could get from the local shop... but can I be bothered with a round half hour trip? Hmmm.... :rotfl:

Have you not got any bread? I'd have a fishcake butty and a chip butty! :D

I'm one of these annoying people that never have milk and bread in the house :rotfl:

I have no use for either of them. I don't tend to eat breakfast or even lunch if I'm not at work so it's only dinner each day. I think I'm doomed to the fishcakes :(

I'd just have pasta with some butter (margarine), sweetcorn and maybe some garlic. Simple, but could be quite tasty!

Got any eggs? Sweetcorn fritters or pancakes.

Takeaway? :p Sorry, i'll shut up.
