How to remove stain from red bag from cream cotton shirt

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with how to remove a stain.
I used a new red bag with a cream/natural cotton shirt, and I think because of the heat (on holiday), the colour from the bag has rubbed off onto the shirt. So now I have huge red marks on the shirt.
I was thinking about soaking it before washing it, but should I put anything in with the water. I've already got Vanish oxi action if that would help. Label on shirt says it should be washed at 40.
If anyone can give me advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I would try the vanish. You can't do anything with bleach as it is cream. If that doesnt work you coulod dilute some stardrops and rub on.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
