if your forms are correct you wont be in more than 20 minutes, very user friendly....
  • Hi

My experience at coventry was OK.
Thorough search by security at entrance, forgot i had a mini leatherman tool in my pocket which was confiscated and returned to me on exit!

My clerk (young lady called kelly/kerry?) was very understanding and efficient with all the paperwork.
The process for me was so quick that i had not even paid the fees when i was ushered through to the judges waiting area.
Called in to see the judge - gentleman in mid 50`s in normal business suit who wanted to ensure the following:
    Papers filled out correctly
    I had taken advice
    I knew about the implications

He read through explanation for BR and stated that i should view the whole thing as a fresh start with a clean slate-nnot to worry and get on with life.

Then went back to clerk office and paid fees!

Whole process 45 mins including waiting for BR papers to be given to me.
No call from OR at court as they were too busy. The OR called within 24 hours to say that interview would be booked for 10 days time.

All in all a quick and smooth day. Hope that helps and puts your mind at rest.

ps. if driving you need to go past the court through light up to top of road and enter multi storey car park (not cheap).
    Good luck
  • do you have to book it or is it a drop in
  • Phone the court and ask for the civil counter ,request appointment/hearing date for bankruptcy. my guess is week to ten days
  • thanks alot I will do and find out
