mortgage company

My mortgage company are now turning up the heat & keep calling me,
they keep asking for token payments eben £1.00. how bad is that, of course im not paying it as our house is in £30.000 negative equity & are giving up the house volantarily & we are going b.r 10th sept.
my question is would anyone say the the mortgage company that we are going br on the 10th & we are moving out into rented on the 24th august or stay quiet until this has happened. (ie b.r)???:confused:

    also i dont know if we have done right but we havnt said anything to our estate agent about b.r i dont know if this is right, i feel bad but it was the only way we could get one. we were honest with at least 6 agents & they were not interested, but also the houses that were available to us were thin on the ground.

    Hiya,

    check your tennancy agreement, many have bankruptcy clauses and its highly possible the official receiver will inform your landlord.
    there are quite a few people that have managed to still rent, and thy can probably tell you more. sorry probably not what you want to hear right now, but id rather say than not...good luck

    yeh i have heard different stories about this one as we have a copy of our tenancy agreement & no sign of anything to do with b.r.
    just worried that the or will contact them & then we be kicked out.
    hopefully all will work out.!!

  • we went to a little independent estate agent and explained everything to them because we had jobs they spoke to the landlady and hey presto they let us rent from them

    there is that many empty to let houses round here i think they just want the rent coming in
