I have seen some in my main city post office. Just on the counters to help yourself.
I think the ones that used to be phoned up for, now are for businesses only.

I never seen them for free in the post office. Yesterday a A5 bag cost 80p in the post office where I live. I saw them sold 5 for a pound in Nettos. Have also seen that they are cheep in poundland like newmommyjen said.

Grey special delivery envelopes., they are on the counters for free, not technically a jiffy bag, but ideal for sending ebay items.

If ever I buy anything that comes in a jiffy bag I reuse the bag to send stuff out in (if in good condition) therefore FREE.

Phone Royal Mail - 08457 950 950 - to get Special delivery bags of varying sizes to suit...you can order as many as you want, within reason....i usually order 100 of each size...thyre free, but not sure if they can be recycled

If you need jiffy type bags then try from https://www.svp.co.uk 100 A4 is about £8 (plus postage) which is good compared to shops usual £1-3 each!! or try ebay
