Special K?

Does anyone know of a supermarket where this is on offer at the moment? I have an Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury's close to me which I could get to.

I know it was on offer a couple of weeks ago and now that i need it I can't seem to find any!

  • I don't know of anywhere but have you ever tried Aldi Benefit? I am REALLy fussy and in my opinion that is the same as Special K and is only £1.39 a box.

  • In my aldi they do a yoghurty one, a plain one and a red berries one. I like the plain one best (in both special K and in Benefit).

Serious question (albeit expressed flippantly :o)...

What makes Special K so 'special'?

Isn't it just cornflakes with an inflated price tag?

As for Aldi cereals, we've tried the cornflakes, multigrain hoops, honey hoops, chocolate hoops (:o:o it's a traditional holiday treat for the kids!), and they've all met the 'comparison with branded goods' test in our house. So, I'd guess that it's well worth trying the Special K equivalent and seeing how it works for you. All flippancy aside :o

I visited Aldi for the first time the other day and noticed that stuff and thought it looked similar. For that price I will pick some up this weekend :D Thanks!!
