Your gas and electricity consumption is horrendously high, are yu paying for arrears, its more than twice the normal.

If there are only 2 of you in the household you will definitely save by getting a water meter. Your metered water should be only about £25-£30
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

    Hi Mrs Invisible

You SOA has nearly worked but the bottom appears to be missing.
Are all your debts shown or have any been chopped off the bottom?
If all there then in summary
    Income 1332
    Expenses 908
    Left for repayments 424
    Repayments 199
    Surplus 225

Do you own your house outright? Assume 180 is £180k?

As Mckneff says your utilitites are really high but none of the other items seem excessive. Hopefully we can advise more if you can confirm if the debts are complete.

Just seen your earlier thread which confirms the house is yours. Are gas & elec high due to your husbands health problems? Do you need to have the heating on a lot? Does he have equipment that uses electricity?

Whilst you need to look at your debt issues its natural that your priority is both your husbands health but make sure you look after your own health too.

    Good luck

i have asked the energy supplier to check that the bills are right, they say they are. Yes OH has lots of electrical aid equipment, hoists, emergency fall lift, bath hoist, wheelchair, stairlift, bed ,. chair etc which all have to be on 24/7 also much extra washing /drying of clothes and bedding. Have had water meter installed and saw dramatic fall in that bill thank goodness. Also have hearing loop system as he is very very deaf and is registered low vision, so have TV on all waking hours for him as he can no longer read or do crosswords sudoku etc. Wedont qualify for income support so we lose out on a whole raft of other stuff that would help, and we need to do alterations to the house for him this year. Disabled facilities grant assessed our contribution at around 10,000 falling to £3,800 if we can wait till november when i am 60, so i'm trying to hold on to the savings £2240 and if possible ad to them so i pay as much off cards as i can each month and hope to have it clear by march/apil next year
