Morning, glad to hear you are feeling a little bit better. Sounds like the tablets are helping a bit. Lots of colds etc going round at the mo.

Hope you do go out for dinner might be a nice change for someone to cook for you as you do so much for the rest of the clan. But its probably not the best as the kiddies are sick.
Hope you have as good a day as you can hope for then.

Diclofenac aka Voltarol made me throw up, gave me heartburn and probably an ulcer that was bleeding , oh and they didn't help the shattered ankle any either!

our dr wont prescribe diclofenac any more ...reports on the damage it can cause to hearts came out and he will no longer prescribe them ...hubby had been on them for ages as well ...he has an ulcer (has had since he was 16 like) has high blood pressure so he really shouldnt have been on them in the first place

it is the common one people are put on dt ...it is more gentle on the stomach compared to ibuprofen but it is still bad for it ...hence the reason he needs to take them with food etc

I'm no longer allowed anything with Aspirin or ibuprofen in..since they had me on Naproxen.Shame as they took the pain away but nearly killed me!!!!....
DR said..that 1st time you have a small reaction, second a larger and third the worst reaction you'll get to medication.Makes you wonder what they put into these tablets!!

i have a friend whose friend died of steven johnsons syndrome due to anti biotics ...that has to be one of the worst ways to go ....more people die every year from drug reactions than from what they take the drug for(some ridiculous number like 10,000 a year)(not sure exact figures though)....and yet we are told not to overdose on vitamins etc when there have been very few (something like 10) recorded instances of deaths from vitamins in 20 years....hmmmm makes you wonder

Shaun, that sounds bad.... I hope you manage to make that meeting. And that the baby feels better today - hopefully you'll both get some sleep.
