    It is really nice, but make sure it is the columbian one- their own brand is well, a bit like camp coffee:eek::o
    I still have a nearly full jar of it- guess what Mr.B is drinking when the other coffee runs out:cool: Actually, i think i will make him drink it anyway:rotfl:

    Morning all! Ah, you've hit on one of the few vices I have left **KC polishes halo** - I buy Tesco's Value ground coffee, not instant of any description.

    Poor Shaun - fancy having to go into that cupboard :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I'm actually feeling a bit better today - tho I played freecell too long last night, and have given myself a bit of a headache - its a fine line between not doing stuff/doing the wrong stuff/ being active and overtiring myself. I'm rubbish at deciding that stuff when I'm well, so right now I'm really useless at it all. However, I will try to be good :p

    Off to get brekkie now - hope the baby hasn't chewed through your arm, Shaun.

    Well done with the shopping Shaun, cant help much with the coffee debate as were all tea drinkers but I do have an aldi coffee in for others no one has complained it is a "specially selected colombian freeze dried one. I like an occasional milky coffee but not enough to be an expert, it tastes ok to me though and must have been cheap else it wouldnt be in the cupboard/press.:rotfl: Other bargains Ive found are weetabix in lidl its €3.83 48 pack, cheaper than dunnes. Plum tomatoes lidl 35c and there pasta sauce which is nice is 89c, they also had some typhoo t bags at 2.49 with 100% extra so 160 bags, not bad for the relations me thinks! Unless they bring some of course:T
    Will keep you posted if I see any more bargains.
    Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18

    QUOTE=taxi73;24089271]Never knew that about conkers..LOL
    Soda bread and vinegar...not heard of that one.How does that work,please?
    small bowl of water ,good splash of vinegar to cut grease,,,wasn't working on stubborn grease so sprinkled soda onto the scouring pad to cut through it,,,,this is not a genital abrasive so not for delicate surfaces

    [/QUOTE]

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:sorry, I just had to come out of lurkdom for this one. I love your imaginative spellings Shaun, and sometimes have to work out what you've meant, but this one is as clear as a bell :rotfl:

    Got to go back to lurking for a little while longer (told too many people about this site and now they're looking for me :eek: :rotfl:)

    Evening Shaun...hope the baby hasn't ate you!!!!
    You're probably sat down now exhausted from all that housework.
    I still don't understand where the soda bread comes into the cleaning with the vinegar.

    just been listening to a radio program....i do now again thank you!!

    they had a statistics expert on,who was looking at the figures, some dept is using ,,,who advice the government on budget,
    this dept are going to tell the government that prices have fallen by 12% this year ,,,,and so they can cut welfare eth by 8-10 % again..

    now when the expert, looked at the figures he used the prices from 1996
    which were from the height of the Celtic tiger and oil and gas were the most expensive they've ever been!!! and we were 40% more expensive than the uk,,
    now allowing for the current low price of gas and oil and so so called 18/20% prices are supposed to have come down he says averagely
    gas up 10%
    oil up 10%
    food up 15%
    hotels.restaurants, going out up 6%
    holidays up 6%
    down you've guessed it
    wages
    welfare
    public spending down 10%
    im hoping this guy is going to get some air time over the next few days and wake people up in this country
    we are being screwed by 30% more than anywhere else in Europe....
    on surviving :mad::mad::mad:
    rant over
