Kitchen composting

Hi

Was thinking of having a kitchen compost bin, as we don't really have room in the garden.

Does anyone have one and do they work?

I may be way off here, but the only kitchen compost bins I know of are the ones that just act as convenient repositories for your waste, until you can put it into the main composter in the garden.

I have never heard of a dedicated compost bin for the kitchen.

................but I'm sure someone will put me straight if there is one and I for one am interested too, if there is such a thing.

I did a google search and came up with the ones you've mentioned, but I'm sure there must be a way of doing them.

This is where I'm going to go wrong I would like to put a link in here.... There is another OS thread going on wormeries . You can get ones for indoor use but they are quite expensive.
