i dont know if this is the right place. but my local raindow (assume its nationwide) has £15 off the crown DAB radio at the moment. i bought one at £50 just before christmas & was pleased with it at that price, with £15 off i bought a spare.
before that i had an ALBA & thought DAB wasnt very good, as the reception was poor, but this crown one has impressed me & have always got a good reception everywhere i work.

I think Rainbow must only operate in certain regions. They are all over the place in East Devon, but I don't think I ever saw one of their stores in the West Midlands, North Somerset or Bristol.

The Coop in Honiton now have the Crown CDR240 DAB radio for sale for £19.99.
Product details from
http://www.ryness.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=2719
where they have it priced for £48.99:
DAB radio receiver with PLL FM Analogue tuner
- Two line LCD display
- DAB auto tune
- 2 x 1.5AMP output
- Mains or battery operated
- Headphone socket
They only seemed to have a couple left in Honiton though. As ever with the Coop, this may be available elsewhere, both regionally and nationally, but you can't be sure.

I see that this model is discontinued and that you can get a B grade for £24.99. Is it any good/what is a good dab radio?I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0 -
ive been very impressed with the crown one i bought. it is stereo, takes batteries & has good reception. i work in lots of different areas & it has always picked up a good signal. i had an ALBA one before & often struggled to get a signal, but this crown one picks it up where the ALBA didnt. if i came across them at £20 i would buy some more.0

Got the Crown Micro system.(Bargain buy from Ebuyer a while back for just £29.99!)Been quite happy with it so expect this one will be fine.
Did see a DAB radio for sale at Valutech for £29.99 but a review I saw put me off a bit.If it's not a bargain, it's not worth buying0
