Yes Miss Marple as I mentioned I edited my main post when I got home from work on my home laptop which will do a £ sign (you've quoted my edited post) - wouldn't let me change the dollar in the title of the post though!0 -
Just thought I'd let people know who ordered from House of Fraser
I got an email today confirming cancellation of 2 of the 3 items I ordered and a refund to my card - no explanation so I assume they didn't have the stock levels
I cancelled the whole order as the remaining item was a bit of an afterthought and paying the delivery charge on top wasn't really worth it
It's really annoying when companies do this
Hope everyone else has better luck with their stuff!0 -

I have read gavalnizersbaby's post with interest.
I too had an item cancelled from my order and now, nearly three weeks on, the second item has not arrived.
I e-mailed HoF to ask what had happened and they seem to think the item must have gone missing in the mail and have said they will send me a "Missing Parcel Letter" for me to sign and return.
In the absence of any e-mail from HoF to inform me the item was ever sent, I am cynical about the whole thing and would love to know if anyone ever actually received any of the stock on offer at £10 per item - especially if anyone ever received their full order.
I suppose I should have known that it was too good to be true.0 -
My order was cancelled and my card refunded. It took them a week to decide they were OOS of the item I ordered and a further week to remove it from the website
They did send me a voucher code for £10 off my next order by way of apology but unfortunately they cancelled that order too after 4 days.... because they were OOS, not even a Principles item this time.0 -
I ordered 2 Principles items and they emailed to tell me one of them was out of stock so I cancelled the whole order and had it refunded to my card.
They then emailed me a voucher for a 10 credit so placed another order for 2 items totalling 10 pounds and paid the 4 pound delivery charge.
I recieved these last week so worked out ok for me - I didn't get my Principles items but ended up with a Warehouse cardi and a vest top for four pounds.
Yesterday they sent me further emails to say my items have been despatched
so whether these are just late notifications I'm not sure or whether a duplicate order will turn up?!
House of Fraser seems to be pot luck with stock levels - similar to Debenhams/M&S online stock control.
The deal had already been posted on hot deals when I posted it here so my guess is a lot of it was sold out before I even posted on mse
It is really annoying when companies let you pay for things they don't have in stock!:mad:0
