PPI Reclaim in N.I.

Hi, am having ongoing hassle with Egg over ppi reclaim on a loan (full story in ppi forum!) I noticed in my Terms and Conditions under a section called The Law Applicable to this Contract "If YOU reside in Scotland or Northern Ireland the law applicable to that appropriate country will apply". I take it this means I can issue Proceedings over here rather than have to do it through the English courts. Just wondered if anyone else had done this and the outcome of any cases run over here. Thanks

You can of course issue proceedings here. As for the legislation, we have exactly the same as England and wales.
