Payment options on websites - currency option

This is sort of a question, sort of a suggestion!

On websites which offer the option to pay by a currency of choice (the immediate example that comes to me is RoboForm, as I'm thinking of upgrading to Pro), with the dollar at a low level at the moment, is there a downside to choosing the payment option of $29 rather than £19???

I don't think so, as long as you pay with your credit card they should just convert the USD to GBP at the current rate which should save you a couple of quid.

I have paid for lots of things in different currencies (though usually out of necessity) with my plastic and have never been charged any fees or anything.
As you say a very good idea to pay in USD with the exchange rates being the best that they have been for years.

I have an electron with halifax/bank of scotland and get charged £1.50 when i spend another currency
