I think your ok hun as long as you have a screenshot and the ref code - it just means you dont have the email confirmation. You can still send off and claim.

I think cookinmummy is right. If you're really worried about it you could always try to get the email address with the .co.uk ending if no one has it already.

It might be worth sending the .co.uk address a message asking them to forward you the wem just in case someone already has that address, gets the wem and thinks they've won and tries to claim.
