I was trying to get across that folks are being very blantant about swopping codes on a public forum. What's even more worrying is that by admitting that folks have won with swapped codes is leaving themselves wide open for reprecussions if an individual takes it upon themselves to direct Mr McVities here to view what's going on. The terms are worded strongly that they will prosecute if folks are found "corrupting the process of the promotion".
In addition to this - check out No. 26 in the T & Cs. If any of these entrants are disqualified, claims invalid or packets get lost, the win is then given to the next person that would have won. A losing code could become a winner later and if it's one that someone has re-used you could lose out on that win too.
I know some people are having difficulty getting codes, but with most Tescos selling them for 35p a packet on BOGOF at the moment is it really worth the risk of losing up to £1,000 or being disqualified from the promotion.
Having said that - I would think it would be safe to swap duplicates. Really useful if your shop has lots the same.0 -

If an entry is invalid, and then gets redrawn surely they can't expect us to keep ALL losing packets throughout the promotion "just in case".
If you are told it is a losing wrapper after submitting 5 times then why would they expect you to keep it?
Surely they would just reallocate at another time any prizes that are invalid?
EDIT: Just read your second post. So now I've got to keep all the biscuit wrappers? Along with my Mccoys crisp packets....Gonna get rats I tell ya, rats!!
Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

I don't know how this would work in practice, if you entered the code and it didn't win you would throw the pack out. Surely they can't expect people to keep the packs from every packet of biscuits they eat between now and October just in case someone else is disqualified. Especially at the rate we are getting through them0 -

It's a bit of an odd rule because if you carry on playing after winning you risk losing a prize of the same type if you win.0 -
