Hi,
If you live or shop in St Albans then please checkout What's on St Albans (i've not made enough posts to leave a link) please google What's on St Albans
It is a local listing website and is home to the St Albans Loyalty Shopping Card.
Launch day is tomorrow (1st August) and will be placed throughout the market handing out 2000 free trial cards.
The cards can be used in pubs, bars, restaurants, takeaways, basically any business that signs up the the scheme offers a discount. If you see a What's on St Albans poster or sticker in their window then they are part of the scheme.
This has been set up as a local scheme, therefore no chains can join. It is a way if bringing people back to the City and away from the shopping malls and supporting local shops.
Cards can be purchased for £4.99 from the Tourist & Information Centre in the Market or Andy Shoesmiths in the Maltings or as previously mentined we are handing out 2000 cards on 1st August.
Please go to the special offers page on the website to see which businesses are offering great discounts and start shopping.
Thanks for reading and happy saving.
