My experience is assuming you do an application at branch, then the process is very efficient and you should get a mortgage offer; subject to valuation letter in a week.

It does. But you can have the appln done on phone (took me an hour, they called back). They'll send the documents to sign and return back to them within a specified date, until when the same rate would still be applicable.

Recd the filled in appln form on Saturday for me to review and send back.

Have submitted them to the brach today.

Anyone else fixed a last minute one on this deal?

Did the branch say you would get the July RateMatcher rate?

When i did the appln via phone banking on the 30th, i was told if i would get that rate when i send them the signed appln form back within the timeframe. (i had to send it by aug 14th).

Can send back via post to them or to any local branch as well. I did that in the branch (just to go thru the appln and check it) & they will be posting to the mortg team as well.
