    My debts are around the 15k mark, but that doesn't include my house which is in massive negative equity.

    Not everyone is aware of the 14 day cooling off period - so maybe you weren't aware?

    Good point. Banks and other lenders very rarely tell you, leaving such things in the microscopic small print for you to miss ;);)
