Hi, everything has been going well since i was discharged last Nov 08.
Nothing much to report about enjoying living debt free
Only thing is i have a few questions.
I want to train as a book keeper, can i do this now i am discharged?
Is it correct you can not become a accountant now im discharged?
Also i will eventually want to become self employed, will i be able to be a director of a limited company?
thanks

You can become a director now that you are dicharged, im not sure what the policies of the accountants re previously bankrupt personsHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -
you can become an accountant or bookeeper as long there is no blame attached to your BR ( aka BRO/BRU etc...) . ACA, CIMA even accept undischarged BR to pass their exam. you will have to declare your BR at registration ... but I hav eseen soemone on this board applying or doing an AAT .
however i do not know how a future employer will see this ....BSC number 1830
