Thursday 30th July '09 - What are we wearing today?

Afternoon ladies! Are we all naked today or just too depressed with the weather to bother?

I feel very cheeky starting the thread for a second day running:

Vintage 70's Indian tribal print mini smock dress (£2.95 chazza shop)
Black leggings (Free - friend's cast-offs)
Black ribbed TopShop vest (10p jumble sale)
Vintage yelow crushed velvet waistcoat with gold paisley trim (50p Car Boot)
Usual selection of Indian brass and wood bangles (ancient collection)
Indian silver tribal rings
Huge brass earrings, shoulder length discs on wires (Indian women's collective £1 Chennai, India)
Vintage Ebony, gold and orange wood beads with Hand of Fatima charm (50p Car Boot sale)
Bare feet!

I'm off boozing tonight...............yippee!! An opportunity to wear a vintage maxi dress and high heels.

Have a good thursday, it's nearly the weekend now :j:j:j

White tie-back top (Next, January sale, think it was £5)
Usual flip flops, which I will have to set aflame once I'm not pregnant any more because of the embarrassing stench of them (I swear my feet don't smell when not pregnant, and I don't know how cause I've not worn socks in months)
    Glasses

LeedsLass - that sounds like my old working wardrobe. I begrudged wasting my cash on practical clothing when I was a wage slave so grabbed what I could and hoped for the best.
My colleagues used to marvel at the way I wore dresses and skirts over trousers, layered my tops and pinned vintage brooches in unusual places. They didn't realise it was 'cos the zip in my trousers had broken or I was covering holes, rips and ladders. :rotfl:

Get well soon, PirateFairy! Can't you get a "Flu Friend" to get your shopping? xx

wish i could, but my sisters are off to visit my nan in hospital this evening, so dont want to come into contact with my flu and pass it on :(
and i would ask the ex, but he is being particularly horrible this week, called me up last night to tell me he'd had a rubbish day and proceeded to blame it on me (i wasnt even there :( )
and everyone else is working..bit stuck really..but i felt a bit more perky yesterday late evening, so may have a nap this afternoon, and head out for provisions about half 10 ish, hoping i've stopped being sick from this stupid medicine by then.
