Tesco Loan - Info

I applied last night for a personal loan with Tesco after learning on here that they are no longer with RBS and now only search Equifax.My file with Equifax is squeaky. I applied at 6pm and got the generic "Thank you, with will now process your application and contact you within 24 hours". Is this response normal for loan applications submitted after office hours or does it basically mean it is likely to be a decline?
Does Tesco give instant decisions?

Anybody on here been successful with obtaining a Tesco loan after being given the "We'll contact you in 24 hours..............."

Hi we applied to tesco over 10 days ago and still havent heard so we have told them to forget it and used other methods to fund our purchase so if you need it in a hurry dont bother you will either get a letter saying no or the paperwork agreeing to the loan in principal and a direct debit form with a date for 1st payment then the wait begins we are a week in and have now given up. They can still turn you down at this point and sometimes after asking for numerous pieces of paperwork wouldnt reccomend for a quick turnaround
