    Hi Robin,

Try customer.service@tesco.co.uk - I was successful with this in the past but it was a while ago.

Tesco also have a freephone customer service number - 0800 505 555 - where you might find help with your enquiry quicker as I've found Tesco generally take an age to reply to online queries.
  • THe email address they give on the receipt you get with online grocery shopping is online@tesco.co.uk but they take ages to respond. When I did get a reply it came from customer.service@tesco.co.uk and that was in the last month so might be worth trying that one

    Hi

I really wouldnt waste your time, Tesco online customer service is without doubt the worst third world outfit, manned by the most ignorant of breeds, one could ever wish to meet.

I ordered 4 cases of wine online and had three different prices on three different correspondence. The original order gave one price, the email confirmation gave another, the delivery note gave another.

I have tried since February to get it resolved, but unfortunately the cave dweller from Dundee has failed to give an answer. Two letters, four emails, 5 phone calls.

So from an experienced campaigner, go to sainsburys or LIdl

I would agree, the Tesco online customer service department is awful. I did once manage to speak to someone who was actually helpful and seemed to know what he was doing, but I suspect he was the only one and was probably hired by mistake

I am staggered by this - I have used online TESCOs for about 3 years now and anytime I have cause to ring about an order (About 10 times in all, I'd say) they have been brilliant. In fact I have always been impressed by the quick refunds and turn around of goods if a re-delivery is required..... Am I a one off ???
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.
