Texting in comps entries - have you won?

I`ve started texting in my answers to mags like Chat, Take a Break but was wondering if anyone has won by text entries?

Sorry Val,
I use the principal of all entrys costing no money
unless you have some great deal on texts to these expensive 5 digit numbers!

Well it says 35p plus own text rates to send them in that way.

i've only entered a couple val and i didn't win - then again, i only entered 2. I have often wondered though with competitions of multiple entries (post/phone/text/web) whether a certain method is more successful.

has anyone else had any experience?

I just started doing a few text comps and last month won a juicer, dvd and book.

Boyf won a optio33wr digital camera from texting in the code from his bottle of fanta.
When they said he'd won he didn't hold his breath but the camera is actually pretty decent. Especially for free. I never thought people won these text comps either, but was happy to be proved wrong. :T

I won a 12ft trampoline + accessories from 1 text message. Comp was with Pom Bear and I found out about it on this site. So thanks guys!

My sister won with Now magazine just last week. She's staying in Hollywood for 5 nights in a 5* hotel, Limo from the airport to the hotel, she's going to a red carpet event with the 'Hollywood stars', will have a full hair, beauty and style makeover, will get the use of a hire car, is getting a guide to take her to the Hollywood sign and other landmarks, will receive $1000 spending money, will be dining in top restauratns - frequented by the stars (their words not mine) and on and on. I am so, so happy for her as she deserves to win so much. She hasn't been on holiday since we were kids, has never been abroad, and she took on myself and our disabled sister when she was only 20. This win couldn't have happened to a nicer person, i'm so glad my sister won it! She's going to take an older sister of ours who has just had the all clear after fighting breast cancer. So you see, text competitions are worth entering.

I won and I-pod with that text comp, and just this morning, or rather 01.30am, I won an X-box 360 with the pepsi max comp! Wooooo!:T
