    I've never managed to actually book one of these lastminute.com 'live at 10am' sort of things - are they just scamming us?

    No! I, and my colleagues have booked hotels for £10 before, quite a few actually

    thanks for this post, the deal isn't available for the dates I wanted but it does look like a lovely restaurant and will visit it hopefully so thanks for bringing it to my attention anyway. Otherwise, I'd never had known

    All I would say is keep trying - in the past we have booked over 25 minutes after it became 'live' - because lots of people think they will be all gone - when the server was busy - but lots of times people can't take it through to the last stage so just give up.

    Nope, I've had a few good bargains. Demand is really high though so I've not always been lucky.

    Don't miss this little bit either......

    I always ask them to take it off the bill if its put on there.

    The staff dont work for free, if i want to leave a tip i will. But thats up to me to choose, and to choose what amount.
