a bit more to add £10 from scratchcards, £3 from Ebay and £17 from a friend for doing her monthly accounts.

have got some Ebay auctions ending 2morrow so hopefully will get nearer my target.

JesaRose, what videos are you selling and how much for, on Amazon?

I'm wondering whether I should list mine and hope...

I'm about £20 off my £620 target

Some wrestling ones and a few 80s cartoons. Totally random ones seem to sell best, mainly if its something you cannot get on DVD. Some that I have sold for big money are: Pigeon Street (cartoon) , Our Friends in the North (Tv series), even a Thomas the Tank one for £12!

go for it, some seem to sell well

    Hi All

A couple of items to add:

    Avon commission = £68.65
    Free scratchcard payout = £10
    Amazon Marketplace profit = £1.46

This takes my total for the month to £83.29, not bad considering I have been on holiday. I shall definitely try for £10 a day in August as I have some holiday expenses to pay off!

Sorry I've not been around this month. I've just been too busy with other stuff. Still I've made £294.33 so far this month without really trying. I am so hoping to find another £15.67 before the end of the bank holiday!!

Happy bank hol weekend everyone! Hope you all manage to make some last minute August money today and tomorrow :D Am adding the following to my total...
    * Another £4 pinecone from the other day - 2 in one day, which is very unusual but I’m not complaining!
    * A couple of interest payments are in early, with it being bank holiday - £8.76 on house deposit and £5.94 on wedding fund :D
    * Sunday overtime premium thingy £6.87
    * MS payment £10.80 after tax
    * Amazon CD sale £4.26 after postage (haven’t posted this yet but I’m sure it will be the same price as usual, so am counting it now).

Made around £65 on Ebay too, which I’m over the moon with - only expected £20 or so! Will have to add this to September’s challenge now though with it being bank holiday, booo - could have added to August if I’d been able to post them on Monday (31st Aug) and found out the exact amount after postage, but it’ll be Tuesday now! Oh well, it’ll give me a cheeky little headstart for next month’s challenge :p I'm about £25 short for this month overall - but I'm happy with that, because I would have made it if it wasn't for that :D

Thanks for this hun, I wouldn't have thought of selling videos! Might have a go with my little brother's old cartoons this week :D

£2.05 profit from a CD sold on Play.

    :j

Just gone through some receipts to see what savings I'd made on my normal shopping - and have got exactly £38 from Boots Advantage Points, other deals in Boots (on stuff I'd've bought anyway), savings in The Body Shop and Lush (got a free gift in Lush, which I'm going to add to a friend's birthday present), and savings in Sainsbury's.

Went to Sainsburys last night to buy booze for our mates BBQ and the casher gave me the wrong change. I didn't realise until I got home but they gave me £10 in my change instead of £5 so I am adding the fiver :)

£11.75 paid up for an ebay sale, awaiting around another £20, but that's most probably going to come through at the start of next month so unless a miralce happens tomorrow the total in my sig'll be my making for August.

Must try harder next month, have set myself some goals to achieve to really free myself from my blooming credit card
