  • New to this but what a great incentive with my 2 teenagers around for the Summer hols - count me in for £100 for August and £5 per day starting 'properly' in September.

Man, I am so bad this month. Must get eBay listings up this weekend.
Made £10.17 from Music Magpie. Might have another sweep through the boxes of old CDs as it was a fairly painless process.

Made £3 from PCone. Am nearing cashout on Virgin Bingo, but have had zero luck with the old freebie bingo this month. Nevermind!

I'm at approx £30 so far.

    Hi all

I realise that we are too far into August for me to join the challenge (I'm not sure I would be that good at it) but just out of interest, I contacted ScottishPower for a refund of credit balance on my account which amounts to £125. If I was in the challenge and I received the money on a day in August, would that have counted towards the challenge monies or would it be seen as cheating??

    Thanks

    Girlatplay xx

No thats not cheating, lots of people here add money when it arrives anyway so you would be doing the same as them. Its not too late to join now though if you want to, just aim for less money as your target.

I've made £2.32 on Amazon today. I have a horrid buyer to deal with now though so its putting me off wanting to list anymore:mad:
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

£1.29 profit from two sales - one on Green Metropolis and one on Play. Delighted to be selling stuff even if it is for small profits!!!!!!

Still can't believe I get so excited about selling stuff even when I make a small bit of profit!!!!

Me too! I mostly sell little things which I can easily pop in the postbox without queuing at the post office, so most of my things go for £1-5 pounds so I just list loads each week and it soon adds up.

I've sold another 2 things in eBay this week - made just under £6 for them plus been doing lots of surveys and have won £1 and 25p on the scratchies a few times lately which is a bit of a thrill!

Thanks tirlittan and purple - things are really tough going for me at the moment and it's stressing me out big time :(

Another couple of quid from an ebay sale (finally) still waiting on payment from one nearly a week ago

I applied for another cc to balance transfer my two balances onto, fingers crossed I get it cause it'll leave me interest free for donkeys and take a massive weight off my shoulders. Not got much hope for it though

shrimpy - if your tesco envelopes never arrive I am more than happy to post you some. I get some everytime I go so have quite a good stash. I got some free stamps so it won't cost anything

Thanks JesaRose, I have emailed Tesco so will see what they say, but if I still don't get any joy I will definitely take you up on your offer if thats ok? Heading off to do the shop in a minute so fingers crossed some will have materialised there - I will probably end up with 100's by next week! And will have sold them all on ebay by then, who knew I would devote so much time and effort to a few empty ink cartridges ;)

Another £2 vouchers from Gfk - can't remember which ones I even ordered now as was half asleep :o so that will be a nice surprise!

Got my first 50p scratchie today which excited me but will count on payout otherwise I will lose track. Likewise got £5 into Paypal from surveys but not counting yet. Listed 7 things from Mount Ebay with lots more photos taken, thats the job for this afternoon. Determined to make it this month!

Finally got my free Harry Potter boxset which I am seriously :D with, but don't think I can count as I wouldn't have bought it but am going to keep it, I think....

So after that huge essay, I'm adding a grand total of £2!
