Ooh I just LOVE a bargain! I forgot to say it was £10 instead of £38.99 ish. Its super loud too so will fill the music gaps at the wedding when the band are having a breakNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Oh thats fab! Hows is the bargain wedding organising coming? (Well the bits that can be lol).MSE-ing since 20070

Its not really as I spend too much time at work or trying to make money and still haven't gotten around to doing anything more than booking the church and reception. In fact I still have to send off the deposit for the reception - thanks for reminding me
Must do that this week
Other than that its all ideas but seeing as I have 11 months to go I better get my bum in gear! Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Lol - we organised ours top to bottom in a year- I loved every minute of it!
Would do it again but huby says 1) No! and 2) If we are getting married again we'll renew our vows on a beach somewhere just the two of us (so a Sun newspaper holiday is out lol!)MSE-ing since 20070 -
:rotfl:I know I will enjoy it when I start organising as I like organising things, I just don't seem to find the time to get anything done. My OH is so laid back that I will be doing everything although he has spoken to his friend who sings in the band we are having. He has got a discount on it, so thats a good start
At least if I do it then I know its done. I am not a good delegator. If you want something done right, do it yourself. Thats what I always say:D:rolleyes:
Off to the park now to practice my rounders skills. I play in a league and we have a big game on Tuesday. I need all the practice I can get
Three listings for ebay have been written though today and await photos taking on my returnNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Afternoon everyone, glad to see people doing well this month - looks like the summer days have motivated us all!At least if I do it then I know its done. I am not a good delegator. If you want something done right, do it yourself. Thats what I always say:D:rolleyes:
God, me too! My OH likes to call it control-freakery :rotfl:but I know nobody will do things how I want them done and I'll end up stressing, so I'd rather just get it done myself!I’ve done nothing wedding-related for ages either, too busy - it’s quite scary that it’s only 11 months though, suddenly doesn’t seem like very long…
For me to add... Another MS payment of £12 after taxGot my new issue of Company magazine, from the reader panel which was advertised on here a while back - I buy Company every month, so adding the £2 saved (sadly this was the last free one, but it’s been fab while it lasted!). £1.07 petrol money from little bro (7p slightly random! Lol). Overtime £13.75 after tax - got phoned up on my day off and asked to come in, I couldn‘t really be bothered but thought of this challenge! It should be a bit more than that actually, as get extra on a Sunday - but never sure how much, so will add that when get paid. Nearly at payout on the scratchies again and got 11 hours overtime next week - will add all that when done and dusted!

Hello - got £53.35 today. I had £50 from my grandparents over the weekend which was very very nice of them, they are too generous. I also found £3.35 in 5p's so adding them. Will add this all to my sealed pot challenge (which is towards a deposit) - every little helps0

I was reading through one of the sunday magazines (can't remember which one) and found a 20p off a 400g Hovis loaf:D I also have some money off back to school stationery in Tesco so I might see if they have something to use in my business (I am such a cheapskate:rotfl:).0

Finally getting going now! Been doing my scratchies etc but no real income! Alot of ebay items ending tonight, total is currently at £106.23 for 13 items, alot of watchers on them all im hoping this total nearly doubles
Still at £0 out of my target £465, time to pull my socks up. Think im going to start myself a 3 or 6 month challenge as iv had an idea for making money and im going to explore every detail of it before i act!
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
