Yeay! All my auctions sold today :D one still to be paid for but £17.96 profit from the rest of them.

Have had a couple of bin items end over the last few days without selling. Don't really know what to do with them now as they're not charity shop type stuff but I can't bring myself to chuck them, our freecycle is rather rubbish! but they're taking up space

And I don't have a clue what our "car boot" is all about. They're used to be an advert every week in the paper but no sign of it for donkeys, but there are people out every Saturday still  do you have any idea purple? Could do with just getting a rake of stuff sold and out of my hair!

I've done the car boot a few times debtbegone but it's never really been worthwhile. Think £30 was the most I made. It costs £5 I think. I have the womans number somewhere if you want it. Just need to text her a day or so before to let her know you'll be there. I haven't done any this year though so maybe it's picked up. If you live close to town though you may as well try it, you never know! one good thing if you don't do well you get some or all of your £5 fee back.
  • I took my coins to Tescos today and put them in the Coinstar machine and there was £6!

Also now have 11 items listed on eBay, one of which is a CD which has been selling for about £8 so that looks promising.

So far got 50p from the free daily scratchies which I signed up to yesterday - however a word of warning for people trying this for the first time, like me. I paid the initial £10 deposit on my card, and withdrew it later that evening. However today my credit card was declined at the supermarket and my online banking was suspended - I rang the card provider and they had blocked it due to suspected fraud. It's fixed now but they said that transactions from gambling websites are often fraudulent and even the £10 was enough to raise suspicion!

How much do they charge for the machine use?

Not made a start this month yet as am stuck in the badlands south of birmingham, but should have a handful of ms payments due through the month and a cheque from gtm at some point (hopefully this month). other than that nothing to report as yet.

I've received a £10 voucher from TFL to apologise for the inconvience of the recent tube strike... (it actually came last week, but I need to get the ball rolling somehow!). I also found 5p (and a dime) in the street:rotfl:, so have a £10.05 (and a dime) for the first weekend! Must list things on ebay...
