In its twenty-year history the franchise has grown to become one of the biggest-selling RPG series in Japan, and now it's about to break into the European market with the latest game in the series, Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King. You play one of the guards of the unfortunate King Trode, who's been transformed into a troll and had his kingdom frozen in time thanks to a curse.
