A healthy & cheap recipe for pastry.

I have just made a sausage, onion, mushroom and cheese quiche for tea and I wanted to use olive oil as the fat in my pastry so googled for recipes and came up with this.

It is made with wholemeal flour and contains just 4 teaspoons - yes that's right teaspoons! of olive oil. We have just ate the quiche and the pastry is lovely. I use the kenwood for mixing and although it seemed a little on the sticky side, once the dough was left to rest in the fridge for a couple of hours it rolled out just fine with no more than a usual amount of additional flour.

Thank you for that, I want to start making it myself instead of buying frozen all the time.
Wonder if it would work with white flour too, as I have loads of it?

I can't see why it wouldn't work with white flour just as well.
