I like the prizes that make me laugh it's great winning the big ones and even the middling ones but some of the little ones can be just as good in their own way

I think I have OH well trained now, he's out sorting out the garage and I was supposed to be helping him, he said for me to not worry so I can catch up with some comps, I agreed naturally while wondering what he thought I was doing while he was having a sleep-in so I'm in here for a bit if you'll all have me back for the day :rotfl:

Getting ready to go to tea at my mums, so haven't got to worry about cooking for once. OH is staying at home to continue writting, (something about boson particles or rubbish like that!) Really behind comp wise, don't think I shall be winning much in August if I don't get myself into gear.

The first prize I ever won was Anthony Worral Thompson's Onion Gravy Paste. It only cost £1.99 and was about the size of a small marmite jar. However, it arrived in a box that was about 12" x 12" filled with polystyrene popcorn.:rotfl::rotfl: I think the packaging must have cost more than the prize.:eek::eek: I have very fond memories of that prize, especially as the paste made excellent gravy.:cool::cool:

Afternoon all

popping on quick while LO has a nap - she went swimming with DH I had to watch not allowed at the moment -apparently not sure how that would affect things but didn't take the risk

anyway - diva are these the same surfboard comps or new ones I entered before (oh just realised could click the links and check if I thanked:o) hope she wins one:D

Got a houseful of kids, am babysitting my nephews as well as my 2 boys :eek: I'm still in the lead on scramble but please tweet if you haven't already and you like it x
