I think it depends who you are with, when I moved 2 years ago sky had me connected with 7 day but I was already with them so cant remember having a contract. xx

Moving is so stressful without all the added stress of phone/gas/electricy and change of addresses. xxx Really feel for you hun. xxx
Think it's about time the comping fairy remembered where I am! lol

it's just annoying as I haven't lived here for 12 months so would have to pay cancellations fees if I change providers but I'm going to have to pay BT connection fee and if I don't stay there for 12 months then I'd have to pay them (and only planning on staying there 6 months...) ARGH!!!!!! Too confusing for me!!!!!

Without being too nosey how much is the cancellation fee?
Is there not a bt line where your going as you mentioned a re-connection fee?

Bt are a total ripoff as if you sign with sky they pay the bt reconnection fee for you if you explain that a bt line isnt there.

just been looking at sky - seems quite good - tbh i'm a bit confused by it all as so far both tiscali and BT have told us we will need to pay BT £122 whatever to get connected whatever we do. Tried to find out cancellation fee but customer services closed at 6. There is a line installed but it's not currently activated

    Hi All
Well done on all the wins,
Have just ridden my horse, had a chinook head right at me at head height, but the turned round when the saw me n horse, and went further up the fields to play away from us.
and we had two jets flying around over head playing. for about an hour.
Went to see neighbour, as he had come round to see if i'd like hay for the winter as he has some to sell(really cheap) so i said id work out how much i will need.
rode round to farm, left horse eating grass at bottom of drive, talking away whilst laughing at his collieX trying to be scary(even if it bit me i wouldnt be scared of him):rotfl:
turn around and my horse has walked right up the lawn:eek::eek::eek:
i apologised ALOT but he just laughed and said they can now do pitch and put. thankfully its just surface hoofmarks, lucky as she is 17hh fatty.
wish i had loads of comping biscuits, but waiting til friday.
off to do some comping. and tweeeting, and search for a new daily to add tonight.
THANKS to everyone who posts competitions. you are all :A.

There is a bt line at my mums, she is with virgin, I called sky and asked if she switched to them would I still have to pay the bt re-connection fee they said NO they would pay it as we were switching. Sky are great if you call make sure you get the scottish call centre as they are the most helpful. xxx
