For the techy geeks about, I'm now on a puter with the following (please forgive me if I forget anything as I'm struggling to keep up with it, it's soooooooooooo fast!)
It's an i7 processor with hyperthreading which makes it appear to have 8 cores (4 dual ones) and is rated at just over 8GHz performance. We don't have a FSB as the board has QPI instead rated at 6.4 GT/s. We have 6GB of DDR3 1600MHz RAM, quite a good graphics card (1GB Asus GTX 285 TOP 55nm, 2600MHz GDDR3, GPU 670 MHz, Shader 1550 MHz, 240 Cores), DVB-T card, 2TB HDD, blu-ray writer and the case below
