There are nice guys out there, we just tend to overlook them as friends and go for the bad boys in life. You will find someone who is good enough for you but this guy clearly isn't.:o

Awwwww, ((((((((((Kim)))))))))))) you've made me cry (again!) I'm ok in Liverpool as I have mates here now who are wonderful. I do know you're right. Thanks for sharing your story.

nips - when I was in one of the refuges I took a course they offered. It explained why we got into the relationships we did (this was my 4th bad one but the worst by far) and how to see it coming and what to do. When I hear of women (and men too sometimes) who are put down by their partners or made to feel they cant be themselves and are to blame for the way strangers interact with them, it really makes me feel sad. The one thing I do know though is that no matter what you do or say, you cant stop anyone from being in a bad relationship, the victim has to decide for themselves it's not what they want as while the abuser is still in their control you will defend them even while you're getting stitched/limbs plastered and when they say "he/she didn't mean to" they really do actually believe it so yes, I do know what FE's going through, I hope she will listen to what I'm saying but at the end of the day, it's her choice and I, like everyone here, will be here for her when she needs someone
