Apparently we will be getting a new postie and receiving our post at a differnent time from next week due to changes in the delivery areas etc..I like my postie, oh well getting mail re-directed in 2 weeks anyway so guess it doesn't make too much difference to me!

and got the last blu-ray from Play.com from the 10 I won on FB which is good as it's only just out
OH's now decided he's not just waiting for the puter to come, he also needs the tickets for U2 next week which are supposedly on their way........maybe I should introduce him to comping so he can stalk the postie and all the delivery drivers for real?:rotfl:Just become FTBs & Aiming to be mortgage free by 2034

Morning all - does anyone know about Direct Debits - if I have paperwork stating that a certain amount will come out on a certain date and it differs, drastically (the amount, I mean) is that wrong and is there anything I can do?
And an update on the CTC rubbish, they amended my payments for this year using my correct figures and its still better than before , a change from £10 to £50 and that includes the overpayment that they are taking off me (Not if I can help it!!! - Strongly worded letter sent and recieved already!!)
Anyhow - lounge has been full deocrated now and looks lush!! Love it!! (Just the rest of the house looking like crap now!!!) Well a room at a time!!
Not been comping much or even been in here much - think I will continue to flit in and out and hope that I still get welcomed back with open arms!!! Its not the same anymore - but some say change is good.
Anyways back to cleaning and tidying!!
Hope all poorly Inners feel better soon!! xxMade it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -

You are covered by the direct debit guarantee and can request a full immediate refund from your bank, they won't encourage it though so be persistant

Gert, check out Martin's blog on CTC, it's really informative and interesting...it's his new cause.
Just had an email; my stolen Grand Marnier prize is being replaced. That was really good of them. I am disappointed they don't want to press charges against the thief though...I replied to the email to thank them and to remind them I have a crime reference number as I can't beleive the little sh1tbag is going to get away with this (eg the one who stiole it).0 -

I had this happen to me before my car insurance sent me a letter stating payments would be taken on the 14th of every month
On the 15th of april I recived a 3 letters each with a £35 pound bank charge!!!
So I rang my bank they told me the insurance had tried to take a direct debit on the 10th then they tried twice on the 11th:mad:
The bank told me they have to take the charges but will give you a letter to send to the insurance/or whoever tried to debit your account.has to give you the money.
Luckily my insurance knew they were in the wrong and didnt dispute it they sent it back it took about 6 days.2010 challenge A.B.C.D.[STRIKE]E.[/STRIKE]F.G.H.I.J.[STRIKE]K[/STRIKE].L.M.N.O.P.Q.[STRIKE]R[/STRIKE].S.T.U.V.W.X.Y.Z
